GMT-Master 6542 bakelite bezel box and papers

Here you have a mythical piece. The GMT-Master 6542 with its bakelite bezel.

It is the first GMT made by Rolex, conceived by Rolex for the American flight pilots.

The original bakelite bezels are extremely rare, on top of that they have been quickly replaced by Rolex as they were fragile to heat and chocks. This one is beautiful and in great condition.

The GMT-Master 6542 has no crown guards, a beautiful gilt dial with chapter ring, index with a nice patina and of course the Small red hand.

Look at the beautiful gilt inscriptions, which have become a beautiful dark orange.

Watch delivered on its original folded bracelet and is complete with box and papers as well as the GMT paper.
