The Sea-Dweller "Double Red" was produced in 4 different versions during its production.
On this dial, called Mark II, you can see the word "SUBMARINER" written smaller than "SEA-DWELLER" and that the D and the W of DWELLER almost touch each other.
Some of these Mark II dials have turned into a beautiful brown like this one.
Another characteristic of the Mark II is the inside caseback which has the 3 last numbers of the serial engraved in it.
The case of the watch is like on the Mark I the one of the Submariner but with a helium escape valve. This so much searched after cases are called "Thin Case" by collectors and can only be found on the Mark I and Mark II.

The Sea-Dweller, reference 1665, was in 1967 the first diver's watch in the world equipped with a helium escape valve.
The Sea-Dweller was then produced until 1983 with different types of dials.
After a first serie of prototypes Rolex launched the commercial version in 1971 with a 610 meters waterproof version.
