In 1962 Rolex introduces a new version of its 5512 without the «Officially Certified Chronometer» inscriptions. At the beginning the crown guards were pointed as on the 5512 which the collectors call «Cornino».
Under the «SUBMARINER» you can see a thin line collectors call «Underline». This very rare line has been printed on the dial at the very beginning of the production to adjust the other writings on the dial.
Perfect condition glossy «SWISS» and «UNDERLINE» gilt dial. The writings have a nice dark orange patina.
The index have been «relumed» during a full Rolex service in 2001.
Watch is delivered in excellent condition on its original rivet bracelet and in its original box.
