The new Submariner, still 40mm but made out of very solid 904L steel is synonymous with strength, waterproof and resistance to corrosion.
The case lugs and the crown guards are bigger and larger than before, they are now the same size as the GMT 116710.
It now has a bezel made out of black Cerachrom which is almost unscratchable and has graduations in platinum.
The legibility of the dial is excellent due to the biger markers and the pigmented SuperLuminova which glows blue on the markers and hands. The date magnification bubble on the Crystal has an anti-reflective coating !
The Oyster bracelet has now solid (not hollow) links of 904L grade stainless steel and a glidelock clasp made for easy and fine adjustments of the clasp.
Watch is dated of 2011 so you still have the 2 years of international Rolex guarantee.
